Perfectly autonomous, the robotony requires the installation of a perimeter wire which is activated by the base station. After operating, the robot will go back on the base station to charge. 

You can either set up your device to be completely autonomous, or swap to a manual mode. Using Robomow's app that can be downloaded from any smartphone, you  will be able to pilot your device from your couch.

he all new Robomow RX12 is the most affordable and cutest robotic lawn mower by Friendly Robotics.  This introductory robot mower may not come with all the latest bells and whistles like the flagship RS630, but it has lots of features that manage most small size lawns slightly over 2,000 square feet or 1/10 acre.  Here are some highlight:

Coverage Area
How large is my yard?  The Robomow RX12 can mow up to 2,200 square feet or up to 0.05 acre lot when you take into consideration the areas that are not mowed by the robot such as your house and driveway.  Unlike the rest of Robomow robotic mowers, this Robomow RX12 can handle any terrain up to 8.5 degree slopes.

Everything You Need Is Included
The Robomow RX12 is the most simple robotic lawn mower on the US market.  It comes with everything you need to install in your yard without having to buy additional accessories. Robomow RX12 comes with 230 feet of perimeter wire and 100 pegs. That is enough materials to cover almost an 1/10 acre lot!  It also ships complete with watertight wire connectors for splicing, base station for automatic charging and Roboruler for wire placement, etc. 

External Docking
The Robomow RX12 docking station can be placed outside of the mowing area. If your lawn has a corner with a relatively flat edge, you can move the beginning of the wire up to 60 cm / 2 feet outside the lawn.

Easy to adjust Blade Height
The Robomow RX12 cutting height can be easily adjusted from 0.5 - 1.7 inches through the adjustment knob on the side of the mower.  No tools are required! 

Lead Acid Battery
The Robomow RX12 uses lead acid battery.  The Robomow can run up to 90 - 120 minutes on one charge and recharge in 16 - 20 hours. When the battery gets low, the robot mower will automatically follow the wire and go back to its charging station.

8.5 Degree Slopes 
The Robomow RX12 can mow slopes up to 8.5 degrees or 15% grade.  The wheels are designed to transverse across driveways, sidewalks and many other non-grass areas automatically.

Safety Features

• Robomow features a child lock which prevents anyone from operating it.
• Lift sensors will instantly stop the blades while the robotic lawn mower is lifted.
