The Bariatric Shower Gurney is a water-resistant gurney used for patient transport and showering for bariatric patients with restricted mobility. This strong, sturdy gurney is made of PVC to prevent rust and corrosion from water. Side rails add safety and keep patients securely on the gurney. The waterproof padding provides comfort for the patient and won't mold.

Bariatric shower gurneys are designed to help maintain a large patient's hygiene when mobility is limited. Constructed of medical-grade PVC piping and nylon mesh sling, bariatric shower gurneys are sturdy, water-resistant, and easy to clean. Features of bariatric shower gurneys include a closed-cell pad, safety rails, and eight casters - four that are lockable.

Bariatric shower gurneys are typically used in facilities, but a drain pan can be used in any room with a drain. This Bariatric Shower Gurney can also be used for patient transport, although the PVC pipe construction and waterproof foam padding make it ideal for showers. Drop-side rails both improve patient safety and help with patient transfers.

This shower gurney features locked side rails for patient safety while maneuvering easily for in-house transport. Constructed for strength, the 1.5-inch PVC piping will not rust and is warm to the touch.
