How Pivot and Lock Support Works

Product Features:

• Easy to install behind any kind of bathtub wall (plastic, tile, fiberglass, wall, etc.)
• Durable stainless steel construction is water-resistant to withstand daily wear and tear.
• ADA-compliant, with a 1-inch diameter, fixed horizontal grab bar that has one-inch wall clearance.
• Versatile and reversible, with toilet or bathtub installation, and left or right side mounts.
• Pivots with the user, and is lockable in five different positions to adapt to the specific needs of the user.

Installation Instructions:

1. Determine locking positions of pivot rail, and fasten lower grab bar to a wall in the corresponding location.
2. Fasten the top flange to the wall.
3. Slide pivot rail into top flange and rest into locking teeth on the lower grab bar.
4. Install lift limit and secure with a hex key.
5. Install vinyl cap to cover exposed locking teeth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it rust in my shower?

• The Dependa-Bar is made out of stainless steel, so it won't rust like zinc or chrome-plated steel will over time.

Is the DependaBar reversible?

• Yes, you can choose to install the bottom rail facing either 'right' or 'left' depending on how your shower and/or tub is configured.

Since there is no grip, would my hands slip on the rail when using it in the shower?

• There are two versions of the DependaBar. The Knurled version is textured in gripping areas, and the white finish is smooth but easy to clean and contains anti-microbial properties.

What is the limited lifetime warranty?

• Products are covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser. Warranty excludes products that have been damaged through misuse, accidental damage, alteration, normal wear and tear, wood material and stain, or the use of corrosive or abrasive cleaning products.
