AquaTrek Beach Wheelchair

The Beach Wheelchair is designed for use around pools, spas, lakes, the beach, vacation resorts, and more! The large wheels are designed to glide as smoothly as possible over uneven terrains like sand and grass, and the rear wheels pivot with bearing-free aluminum forks designed to provide unique mobility that can turn on a dime.

The PVC frame is UV-rated and lined with internal aluminum piping for durable structural integrity. The cushioned seat wipes clean easily of sunscreen, sand, salt, and more, and the footrest provides a convenient place to keep feet off the ground when moving.

The AQ-1000 Beach Wheelchair is designed to provide complete mobility to those with physical limitations so they can explore the world around them and enjoy the beach uninhibited. The extra-large wheels are made to provide a smooth, even ride across uneven and unforgiving terrains, and across all sand types, from the light and powdery to the densely damp. Both rear wheels are secured to the chair via bearing-free aluminum forks that move freely and turn easily on the sand for easy pivoting.

The UV-rated, furniture-grade PVC frame is lined with internal virgin aluminum piping for structural integrity and durable 350-pound weight capacity. Stainless steel axles and fasteners add to the chair’s durability and won’t rust or corrode, even in the salty environment of the beach.

The unique parking brake is designed specifically to immobilize the chair in the sand and other soft terrains; two aluminum-lined PVC legs extend from the back of the chair down to the ground and can be buried three to four inches in the sand to act as a virtual anchor. The legs retract up completely out of the way and won’t interfere with the mobility of the chair.

The built-in footrest and padded seat cushions ensure the ride is comfortable for the user, and both are completely waterproof. The seat cushion is easy to wipe clean of sand, dirt, sweat, sunscreen, and any other substance it may come in contact with.
